Master thesis
Master thesis main mentor
A student may have one or two mentors (co-mentorship).
Having a co-mentor is recommended, since thesis topics are interdisciplinary, but it is not mandatory. The main mentor must be a teacher who teaches in the study program (this also includes external associates who teach in the program).
The mentor and co-mentor, together with the student, decide who will take responsibility for which parts of the mentoring process and to what extent.
Master thesis co-mentor
Any teacher from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FF) or the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER)
Additionally, the co-mentor can be another person who holds a PhD and whose scientific field is related to the topic of the master’s thesis.
