The colors of the humanities at this year's ZUP are defended by Renata Geld, associate professor of linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, founder and head of Center for Cognitive Science and the initiator and co-head of the graduate program in Applied Cognitive Science – affectionately called "the study of the future".
In her presentation, she will tackle the challenges brought to us by new technologies, but also certain specifically human qualities, abilities, knowledge and skills that we need to activate in order to build coexistence with technology instead of going to war with it.
