    Welcome to our inaugural cohort

    We are thrilled to extend a warm and hearty welcome to the inaugural cohort of our brand-new graduate program in Applied Cognitive Science! It is with great pride that we announce the successful enrolment of our first 30 exceptional students.

    The competition for admission to this program was very strong, with a pool of candidates who demonstrated outstanding qualifications and a passion for studying cognitive science.

    Our admissions committee members were impressed by the caliber of all the applicants, making the selection process a challenging but ultimately rewarding one.

    To the 30 talented students who secured a spot in this pioneering cohort, we congratulate you on this significant achievement. Your presence marks the beginning of an exciting journey in the field of cognitive science, and we have no doubt that your contributions will further elevate the reputation of our program.

    As we embark on this academic adventure together, we look forward to fostering a vibrant and intellectually stimulating learning environment. Together, we will explore the frontiers of cognitive science, tackle complex challenges, and uncover innovative solutions that will shape the future of this field.

    Poziv budućim studentima PrimKogZna‼️

    Poslovni tjednik LIDER u srijedu 24. svibnja u Hotelu Garden Inn organizira 2. G.R.I.D. forum koji predstavlja skraćeni naziv idućih tema: Green | Robotics | Industry & Innovation | Digital. Profesorica Renata Geld sudjeluje na panelu o budućnosti obrazovanja 🧠📚‼️ koji je sastavni dio konferencije G.R.I.D.

    Ova konferencija okupit će više od 200 sudionika iz različitih sektora, uključujući vodeće stručnjake iz područja tehnologije,obrazovnih institucija, poslovanja i upravljanja, kao i predstavnike vladinih institucija i regulatornih tijela.
    Centar za kognitivnu znanost dobio je poziv da na događanje pozove i 10 studenata koji su, po riječima organizatora budući pokretači i motori inovacija & naprednih tehnologija.

    Prvih 10 studenata (sretnika😊) koji svoj interes iskažu mailom bit će pozvani gosti ovogodišnjeg G.R.I.D. foruma.

    Scholarships for our future students!

    Another amazing day with (potential) students

    On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing presented their graduate programs. We were there too. Many interested students came to our booth and discussed the new MA Program in Applied Cognitive Science.

    Our representatives, Renata Geld (FFZG), Alan Jović (FER) and Sanja Kišiček (FFZG) tirelessly answered all students' questions throughout the day and were excited to meet so many enthusiastic students.

    First CogSci Open hours!

    In a large packed hall at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, we presented our joint graduate program in Applied Cognitive Science in front of hundreds of interested students, the public and academia.

    The program will enrol the first cohort of 30 students in the fall of the Academic Year 2023/24 and it was presented by the heads of the MA program - Associate Professor Renata Geld from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Associate Professor Dario Bojanjac from the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, following an opening lecture given by a cognitive scientist and visiting professor Todd Oakley.

    The event was attended by over 300 students, undergraduates, graduates, employers, professors and media reps.
